Our Partner in Excellence

We take pride in our continuing year-to-year partnership with the Civil War Preservation Trust, an organization as dedicated as we are to safeguarding the past that is so important to understanding the present.

This past year a fund-raising project led by HistoryAmerica Tours was responsible for some $35,000 in donations to the CWPT. Pete Brown is pictured here presenting a check for $10,000 to CWPT at the 2005 annual meeting of the Trust. Pete supervised fundraising for the Edwin C. Bearss Tribute Fund Inc, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization of Bearss friends. Their donations paid for HistoryAmerica's publication of the Bearss biography History's Pied Piper by Jack Waugh, and book sales proceeds were given to the Trust.
